Account of building the Ship America, circa 1780s.

Relates to accounts for building the ship America built in 1788 for New York owners or the ship America built in New York in 1790. The body of the document lists various deductions from the total such as those because of error in the accounts and excess building supplies. The document concludes by adding in and then deducting "by agreement" the builder's commission.
